Project: Condo Interior and Custom Cabinets
Location: Russian Hill, San Francisco

Problem:
The small condo living room lacked space for storage and the entertainment system. Arranging furniture was difficult because of a raised hearth.

Solution:
We built two new custom cabinets. We built one, an entertainment center, into the corner providing space for a television, VCR, stereo, CD and VHS tape storage. The other storage and display cabinet includes open shelves, closed cabinets with glass shelves and wine storage drawers. We dropped the old raised fireplace hearth so that it is flush with the floor. We also simplified the mantel.
